Control

National sovereignty, although officially considered to be a primary human right and foundation of international law, doesn’t really exist. That is, it exists for the USA, but not for the rest of the world.

In the attached article from the Washington Post, the NSG, Nuclear Suppliers Group, are using trade agreements with allied nations, such as Britain, to control the other nations in the world. Here, trade embargoes and threats to India are to limit its ability to use nuclear power.

China is having none of it, and doesn’t need to follow suit as it has remained an independent power since its moral victory after the Second World War, which left it as one of the very few equal members of the UN, especially the Security Council. this is why the US is making such a fuss about China and the ‘Evils of Godless Communists.’ They can’t control that nation.

This attitude and the threatening imperialist behaviour of the USA seems to know no bounds and respect no-one. Surely this can’t go on? But how are we to stop them, considering their immense military might, and the sheer heartlessness of the regime.

While most of the world hates the ‘rogue States’ that is the US, we also fear it. Nevertheless, all things change, and it may be the time to build friendship and co-operation internationally, before the US truly becomes a paraih, for we too can refuse to trade.

One Response to “Control”

Ha Ha. We already do, which came as a big shock to me when I found out! It was Constance’s doing in a way, or else I would never have investigated! See here http://strangelyperfect.tv/1097/georgia-usa-trade-the-gas-bills-repeating-history-the-destroyer-of-worlds/ for a bit more general info and links to sources. The list is quite long and includes children’s clothes, for instance.

My point is that trade wars inevitably lead to real wars and it’s beholden on everyone to realise this point. The real cause of WWI was the shutting down of opportunities to trade for Germany - by good ol’ Britain! GB was “only trying to protect it’s own industries”…. How many times have we heard that?

Of course, that wasn’t completely resolved so we had WWII to finish it off which opened a whole new can of worms for everyone.
